Dr. Ira Braunschweig – Chief Medical Advisor

Dr. Braunschweig started the Stem Cell Transplant Program and obtained FACT accreditation for Autologous, Allogeneic Matched Related, Allogeneic Matched Unrelated and Haploidentical Transplants at Montefiore Medical Center. Started the Cell Therapy Program (CART therapy) at Montefiore Medical Center and obtained “center of excellence” designation for CD19 CART therapy.

Recipient of a 2 million dollar grant to establish The Joanne and Manny Chirico Cellular Immunotherapy Lab at Montefiore Medical Center. Oversees all aspects of the clinical program of Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy at the Rutgers Cancer Institute, Chief of the Transplant and Cell Therapy Service of the RWJ Barnabas Health Oncology Service Line, Director for Cell Therapy and Bone Marrow Transplantation at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. Braunschweig, with his clinical and medical background, grant experience, expansive peer reviewed publications and journals and his academic career provides UVFLOORx™ the proper counsel to focus with all levels of approach on HAI’s within the healthcare and hospital environments.
